You Have My Heart-Coffee And Cards With Celeste And Deb

Hello, happy Valentine's Day! This month Debra and I are using this fun heart graphic as our inspiration. I will also be entering this card into the latest Inkspirational card challenge. I created my card by using the CTMH Hearts cover die and real red cardstock to create the background for my A2 card base. Using the die and Echo Park's Hello Valentine 6x6 paper pad to create the hearts that I inlaid into the design. I created the oversized sentiment using SSS You Have My Heart die and red cardstock and vellum. I adhered the sentiment directly onto the card using liquid glue and finished it off with some clear sparkling gem stickers from Recollections.
My coffee this month is a lovely pistachio Cortado from Starbucks! It was warm and delicious, and I will be ordering this again while it's still available. Now, be sure to head on over to Deb's blog and see how she was inspired this month.

Hooray-This Calls For Confetti-Send A Smile 4 Kids

This month at Send A Smile 4 Kids, we are celebrating kid's birthdays. I started by cutting a panel down to an A2 card front size using a Paper Rose stacking stitched nesting rectangle die. Using the Pawsome Stamps Birthday Balloons stencil and various Gina K and Stampin' UP inks, I created the balloons. I added some strings that I drew on by hand and stamped the confetti in black in using a stamp from Poppy Stamps Hooray stamp set. I then stamped the sentiment and sub-sentiment and used the coordinating die to cut out the larger one. The smaller one I cut by hand. I adhered both to the card, added Star Dust Stickles to the confetti and added clear sparkling confetti disks from Pink & Main scattered around the card. I love how sparkly and fun this card is! Be sure to head on over to the Send A Smile 4 Kids blog and join the fun!

Hello-Guest designer at Poppy Stamps

I was invited by my lovely friend Lisa Elton to be a guest designer for Poppy Stamps. We were tasked to create a fun monochromatic project using Poppy Stamps products. I started by layering some baby blue cardstock that I die cut using the Poppy Stamp Diamond Oval Pinpoint Background cover plate onto my white card base. I then cut frame using the Grand Gothic Window die out of white cardstock and adhered that down to my base. To create my scene, I die cut the Nordic Petalpoint Bird, the Nordic Sweeping Branch, and the Daisy Trio using white cardstock, and colored them in varying shades of blue using my Copic markers. I created a scene using these elements and adhered them to my card using both liquid glue and foam squares. I die cut the Hello Moonlight Script sentiment out of white cardstock, colored the base layer with my Copic markers to match the rest of the elements, and layered the white sentiment on top. I finished this adorable project off with some clear rhinestone gems from Recollections. I appreciate you stopping by my blog today. I hope you have a wonderful day!
