You Have My Heart-Coffee And Cards With Celeste And Deb

Hello, happy Valentine's Day! This month Debra and I are using this fun heart graphic as our inspiration. I will also be entering this card into the latest Inkspirational card challenge. I created my card by using the CTMH Hearts cover die and real red cardstock to create the background for my A2 card base. Using the die and Echo Park's Hello Valentine 6x6 paper pad to create the hearts that I inlaid into the design. I created the oversized sentiment using SSS You Have My Heart die and red cardstock and vellum. I adhered the sentiment directly onto the card using liquid glue and finished it off with some clear sparkling gem stickers from Recollections.
My coffee this month is a lovely pistachio Cortado from Starbucks! It was warm and delicious, and I will be ordering this again while it's still available. Now, be sure to head on over to Deb's blog and see how she was inspired this month.

You Look Better Without Him

Today's card was created for the latest Paper Players card challenge. No one likes to think about a long-term relationship ending, but we all know it happens. I have a friend whose daughter just ended her marriage, and she asked me to create a card for her. I used Kelly Purkey's F Bomb stamp set and heat embossed it onto some pink cardstock using Ranger's white detail embossing powder. Using various punches from Stampin' UP and dies from Spellbinders, I created lots of circles, hearts, and flowers using beautiful, patterned paper from Echo Park's Hello Valentine 6x6 paper pad. I created a panel by die cutting a rectangle using a Paper Rose stitched rectangle die, embossed it using a Spellbinders plaid embossing folder, and adhered the whole panel down onto my white A2 card base using thin foam tape for a little added dimension. I adhered the circles I created onto the focal panel using Bearly Art liquid glue. I embellished the card using some Recollections clear rhinestones in various sizes. I love how this card turned out! Thank you for visiting my blog today. I hope you have a wonderful rest of your weekend.

Thanks A Latte-Coffee And Cards With Celeste And Deb

Hello, happy February! This month Deb and I decided to use this fun mood board I'd found on Pinterest as our inspiration for this month's collaboration. I love all of the deep reds and pinks and, of course, the cocoa and coffee! I created my card by using the Close To My Heart Starburst background die and some pretty patterned papers from Echo Park's Hello Valentine 6x6 paper pad. I inlaid all of the patterned papers onto the die cut piece that was adhered to my A2 white card base. I then stamped and colored the latte image from Honey Bee's Coffee Break stamp set and fussy cut the image out. I popped it up off of the card using Stampin' UP foam dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment from Fiskars Latte Love stamp set using Gina K charcoal cocoa ink. To finish off my card, I added some white gel pen details to the latte.
When I heard that Starbucks was bringing back it's pistachio cold brew I couldn't resist popping into my local Barnes & Nobles (which has a Starbucks in it) to pick up a large one and peruse some craft magazines!
Thank you for visiting my blog. I appreciate all of my followers and love reading all of your comments. They really brighten my day! Now, be sure to pop on over to Deb's blog and see how she was inspired by this month's mood board!

Coffee And Friends Make The Perfect Blend

Hello and happy Friday! It's snowing here in SE Missouri. I guess winter is not done with us yet. I decided to do a little crafting and created a card for the latest Sunday Stamps card challenge. I created my card by layering some textured kraft cardstock from Hobby Lobby onto my white A2 card base. I then layered a pretty piece of patterned paper from the Echo Park Hello Valentine 6x6 paper pad on top. I die cut a circle from some plain white cardstock using a stitched stacking circle die from My Favorite Things. I stamped the coffee and donut from the Honey Bee Stamps Coffee Break stamp set onto white Copic-friendly cardstock and Memento tuxedo black ink. I colored them with my alcohol markers, fussy cut them out, and adhered them to my die cut circle panel using Stampin' UP foam dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment from the Bo Bunny Cup A Joe stamp set using Versafine onyx black ink. To finish my card off I added some pretty clear rhinestone from Recollections around the focal panel for a little sparkle and shine. Thank you for stopping by my blog today!

Cheers-Coffee And Cards With Celeste and Deb

Happy February! Hopefully you weren't too horribly hit with the winter storm that hit most of the Midwest this week. Since Valentine's Day is in two weeks Deb and I decided to create cards with hearts on them. To create my card I started by die cutting a piece of crumbcake cardstock from Stampin' UP using the Close To My Heart heart die plate. Then using the beautiful Echo Park Hello Valentine 6x6 paper pad I die cut all of the coordinating hearts and inserted them onto the card using a glue pen. I then stamped and die cut the coffee from Close To My Heart's Pumpkin Treats stamp and die set and colored it using my Copic markers. I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set onto white cardstock and then die cut it using a stitched edge banner die that I had in my stash. I popped the coffee and the sentiment up off of the card using Stampin' UP foam dimensionals. I added glossy accents to the lid and the heart on the coffee for a finishing touch.
For my coffee this month I opted for an creme brulee iced latte from our newest Scooter's Coffee town. They've been shamelessly mailing coupons to my house and I can't pass up a deal...LOL. Now be sure to head on over to Deb's blog and see what she created this month!
