Today's winter card was created for both the Paper Players and AAA Cards challenges. I used the Falling Snow stencil from SSS and TCW pearl white stardust butter to create snow on a simple panel of baby blue cardstock. I cut that down and adhered it straight to the card panel. I die cut the snow drift using a SSS Drifting Edge die. I adhered that directly to the card panel. I stamped the focal elements form MFT's Winter Wishes stamp set, colored them using my alcohol markers, and die cut them using the coordinating dies. I adhered them to my card panel, some directly with liquid glue and others with thin foam tape. I finished off the card by adding the sentiment from the same stamp set, and some Stickles in Star Dust. Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I popped into my local Tuesday Morning and happened upon a 12x12 Echo Park Coffee kit for $6.99 and just couldn't resist it! So, I created a fun card using the patterned papers and a few of the included stickers to create this fun, no-stamping card and will be entering it in the latest Cardz 4 Galz and The Paper Players card challenges. Everything was matted on basic black cardstock from Stampin' UP and all of the papers and stickers came in the Echo Park Coffee 12x12 kit. This was probably the easiest card I've created!
Today's card was created for newest The Paper Players card challenge. To create my card I started by layering a piece of dark blue patterned paper from the Echo Park Coffee 6x6 paper pad onto my white A2 card base. I then cut a smaller panel using plain white cardstock and layered it on top. I cut a few squares of patterned paper from the same Echo Park paper pad and layered them directly onto the card following the sketch. I then stamped, colored, and fussy cut the latte image using Honey Bee Stamps Coffee Break stamp set, Memento tuxedo black ink, and my Copic markers. I popped the image up using Stampin' UP foam dimensionals. I die cut the sentiment using Honey Bee Stamps Perfect Blend Honey Cut dies using more of the same dark blue and white cardstock. I could not think of a more appropriate theme for a card challenge than the April Showers theme at The Paper Players. I'm not sure what the weather is like anywhere else in the world, but here in Southeast Missouri we have had more than our fair share of rain. It's actually raining right now as I am crafting. So, in honor of all of that rain I created this card. I stamped this beautiful image from the Unity Stamp Company Harmony girl in Memento tuxedo black ink onto Copic-friendly cardstock. I colored it with my alcohol markers and then die cut the panel using a Gina Marie Design stitched edge rectangle die. Using some cellophane from a recent stamp purchase I added some Tim Holtz distress ink in broken china and spritzed it with a mini mister. I then selectively added the ink around the colored image to create a misty, rainy sky. I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set and die cut it using a fishtail banner die from Jillian Vance Designs. I attached it to the card and then popped the panel up off of the card using 3M foam tape for a little dimension. Love how beautifully simple this card is! Thank you for stopping by my blog. Today's fun Halloween card was created for both The Paper Players and Just Us Girls card challenges. To create my card I started by die cutting a panel of plain white cardstock using a Paper Rose stitched rectangle die. Using some Inkadinkado masking paper I masked off a large circle in the upper right hand corner and inked the panel using Tim Holtz distress inks and a blending tool. I Then removed the mask and added some color to the moon using my Copic markers. I then stamped the witch from the Pebbles/American Crafts Midnight Haunting stamp set using Versafine onyx black ink and heat embossed it using my heat tool and some clear embossing powder from Zing. I then stamped the sentiment from the My Sentiments Exactly Halloween Innies & Outies stamp set and heat embossed it. Finally, I stamped the trees on the bottom of the panel using Close To My Heart's Always Grateful Seasons & Nature stamp set and heat embossed them. To finish my card off I popped the panel up off of the card using some fun foam, added a few 6mm clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh, and a few twinkly stars in the sky using my white gel pen. Hello and happy Sunday! Today's card was created for the latest The Paper Players card challenge. To create my card I started by cutting down a panel of cold press water color paper. Using my Tim Holtz distress inks I water colored a beach scene. Using Gina K Designs black ink and the Stampin' UP Wetlands stamp set I stamped the birds and the sentiment. I wrapped some ivory twine from American Crafts at the bottom of the panel and popped it up using some 3M foam tape. I mounted it onto a slightly larger piece of white cardstock for an additional border and then adhered the whole panel onto an A2 cardbase made out of Stampin' UP crumb cake cardstock. Today's card was created for both The Paper Players and Freshly Made Sketches card challenges. To create my card I started by stamping the apple images from the Freshly Squeezed Stamps The Sweet Life stamp set onto some patterned paper from Echo Park's Flower Market 6x6 paper pad and fussy cut the images out. I cut a narrow strip of paper from the same paper pad and used that as my side panel. I popped the apple basket and apples up off of the A2 white card base using foam squares from Scrapbook Adhesives and then stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set directly below it using Versafine onyx black ink. Hello and happy Monday! Today's card was created for the latest The Paper Players card challenge. To create my card I started by layering one of the Simon Says Stamp A2 masks onto my A2 card and stamping the A Faithful Letter background from Unity Stamp Company onto the card using Versamark ink. I heat set the text background using white embossing powder from Ranger and then inked the background using Tim Holts salty ocean distress ink. I stamped the globe and the sentiment from the Jillibean Soup shaker globe stamp set onto white cardstock from Staples. I die cut the globe using the matching die from the set and colored the globe portion using more blue distress ink. The sentiment was die cut using a die from Verve Stamp company. I wanted to keep the card fairly clean and simple but I did mount the globe and sentiment panel up off of the card using 3M foam tape.
Today's card was created for the latest The Paper Players card challenge. To create my card I started by layering the pretty blue bandana patterned paper from the American Crafts Heartland Farm 6x6 paper pad onto my white A2 card base. I then die cut an oval focal panel using some white cardstock that I inked with some Tim Holtz faded jeans distress ink to create a sky and a pierced edge oval die from My Favorite Things. I then stamped the fence from the Kaisercraft Cock A Doodle Do stamp set, colored it using my alcohol markers, and fussy cut it out. I adhered it to the panel and then layered a grassy piece on top using some green cardstock from Hobby Lobby that I die cut with a Lawn Fawn die. I stamped the clouds from the Kaisercraft stamp set and fussy cut those out too. I stamped the sentiment from the Art Impressions Spring Chicken stamp set and then adhered the clouds onto the panel, one directly to the panel and the other with foam squares from Scrapbook Adhesives. To finish off my card I stamped the chicken from the same Art Impressions stamp set, colored her in using my alcohol markers, fussy cut her, and popped her up off of the card. My card today was created for the If You Give A Crafter A Cookie, Time Out Challenges, and The Paper Players challenges. To create my card I started by adhering some beautiful spring themed patterned paper from We R Memory Keepers Simply Spring 6x6 paper pad directly onto my white A2 card base. I then die cut another piece of coordinating patterned paper from the same paper pad using a wonky edge stitched rectangle die from Gina Marie Designs and popped it up off of the card using some fun foam I picked up at Hobby Lobby. I cut a few strips of the base patterned paper and ran that through the my Cuttlebug with the same stitched die and adhered it to the paper. I stamped the sweet little birds from the Technique Tuesdays Chickadees stamp set onto some white Copic-friendly paper and colored them using my alcohol markers. I stamped the sentiment from the Skipping Stones Design Heartsong I stamp set above the birds and die cut the whole thing into an oval panel using a pierced edge die from My Favorite Things. I added some dashed lines around the outer edge using my dual tip Memento tuxedo black marker and adhered it to my card. To finish my card I added some sweet pastel 6mm and some clear 4mm sequins from Pretty Pink Posh around the panel. Thank you for visiting my blog today and I hope you like my card!
Hello! I hope everyone is having a happy Monday. Today's card was created for the latest The Paper Players card challenge. To create my card I started by layering some dark turquoise cardstock from Hobby Lobby onto my white A2 card base. I then die cut a scalloped edge rectangle panel using a Gina Marie Designs die and some white cardstock from Staples. I stamped the sentiments and the bra from the Skipping Stones Design Bras Volume 1 stamp set and colored the bra to match the layered cardstock. To finish the card I added some turquoise sequins from The Ton onto the base, added some shimmer to the bra using my Spectrum Noir clear glitter pen, and popped the entire panel up off of the card base using some inexpensive fun foam I found at Hobby Lobby. To create my card I started by stamping the witch hat and the cat from the Pebbles/American Crafts Midnight Haunting stamp set (another amazing Tuesday Morning $2.99 find) onto the corner of some white Copic-friendly cardstock. I colored the images to match the color challenge. I cut down a small strip of harlequin patterned paper from the Recollections Midnight Magic Halloween 6x6 paper pad and mounted it directly underneath my colored panel. To finish off my card I added the sentiment from the same Pebbles stamp set and then rounded all four corners using my We R Memory Keepers Corner Chomper. Hello, and welcome to my blog. My second card today was created for the latest The Paper Players card challenge. To create my card I started by layering a piece of olive cardstock from Hobby Lobby onto my white A2 card base. I then stamped the cacti image from the Unity Stamp Company's June 2018 KOTM We Can Rise stamp set onto some white Copic-friendly cardstock. I colored the entire image using my alcohol markers and then cut it out using a Spellbinders oval die. I die cut a white panel using a textured embossing folder from Lifestyle Crafts and adhered that down onto the olive cardstock. I added some black dashed lines around the outer edges of the oval panel and adhered it straight onto the card panel. To finish off my card I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set onto some olive cardstock using Versamark ink and some Recollections snow white embossing powder. I cut the sentiment down into a small strip and adhered it across the card. I love this fun, masculine card and hope you do too!
Hello and thank you for popping by my blog today! Today's card was created for the latest The Paper Players card challenge. To create my card I started by debossing a pierced edge circle into my focal panel using a My Favorite Things circle die. I then die cut a smaller circle using a Spellbinders circle die and some pretty patterned paper from the Authentique Delightful 6x6 paper pad and paper pieced it into the center of the circle. I stamped the sentiment from The Cat's Pajama's Shake, Rattle, & Roll stamp set underneath using Versafine onyx black ink. I stamped the sentiment again onto some patterned paper from the same paper pad and paper pieced the scroll onto the sentiment. I then stamped the sweet baby bunny from the same stamp set onto some white Copic-friendly cardstock and colored it in using my warm grey alcohol markers. I paper pieced the bunny's diaper, nose, and rattle from the same patterned paper pad and adhered those onto the bunny. I fussy cut the bunny out, mounted it onto the focal circle using some Scrapbook Adhesive foam squares and added some sweet pastel Simon Says Stamp Gelato confetti around the panel for some added interest and color. To complete the card I popped the entire panel up off of the card using some inexpensive fun foam I picked up at Hobby Lobby. I hope you like my card!
Hello, happy Sunday! It's been snowing here in southeast Missouri so I've only left the house today to shovel my front porch and walkway. I've spent the rest of the day holed up in my warm fuzzy lounge pants watching True Blood episodes and creating fun things with ink. Today's card was created for the latest The Paper Players challenge and is pretty clean and simple, which if you follow my blog you will know doesn't come easily for me. I like a lot of layers and complexity with colors and patterned papers. But this one was fun and easy to create. I started with a plain piece of white cardstock that I treated with my anti-static tool by EK Success and then stamped the snow from Altenew's Snowing mini-stamp set using Versamark clear ink. I then heat embossed it using Recollections fine detailed embossing powder in Snow. I then stamped Altenew's Winter Cottage image below using Versafine onyx black ink. Once that was dry I went over the trees and the roofline with my Zig two way glue pen and sprinkled some detailed clear sparkling glitter by Wow over the images and knocked the excess off. I then die cut the panel using a stitched edge rectangle die by Gina Marie Designs and inked the top of the panel using my Tim Holtz distress inks. I love how this card turned out. I hope you do too!
Hello, happy Monday! Fall is here in full effect in Southeast Missouri and the foliage is simply gorgeous, so I was excited to create something reflecting the rich, beautiful colors of the season. I will be submitting this card in both the The Card Concept and The Paper Players card challenges. To create my card I started with an A2 base of crumbcake cardstock from Stampin' UP. I layered on a piece of plaid patterned paper from the Echo Park Reflections Fall 12x12 paper pad that I had die cut using a stitched edge rectangle die from Gina Marie Designs. I then die cut a fishtail banner using more of the patterned paper from the same paper pack and a die from Jillian Vance. I wrapped the bottom of the banner with some brown sugar bakers twine from We R Memory Keepers and adhered it directly to the card. Using a leaf punch from EK Success I punched out more of the patterned paper and heat embossed it with some Recollections brown sugar embossing powder and a sentiment from the WPlus9 Strictly Sentiments stamp set. I popped the leaf up off of the card using Stampin' UP foam dimensionals and finished the card off with some pretty rich bronze sequins from The Ton. Hello, and welcome to my blog! It's finally fall here in Southeast Missouri and I thought it would be fun to create a card that reflected the season. I will be entering this card in the current The Paper Players card challenge. To create my card I layered a piece of sage cardstock onto my A2 white card base that I had cut a circle out of using a Spellbinders circle die and embossed using a Richard Garay sweater embossing folder. I stamped the adorable images from My Favorite Things Harvest Mouse stamp set onto white Copic-friendly cardstock, colored them, fussy cut them and mounted them onto the card using Stampin' UP foam dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set onto the card and also onto a piece of black cardstock and heat embossed it using Recollections detail embossing powder in snow. To finish the card off I added some clear Wink of Stella to the leaves, the apples, and the mouse's sweater. Love how cute this turned out. If you like my card be sure and leave a comment. Today's card was created for both The Paper Players and Addicted To CAS card challenges. To create my card I started by stamping the beautiful berry wreath from the Clearly Besotted Simply Scrumptious stamp set onto white card stock using both fresh asparagus and red hot inks from Gina K Designs. I stamped the center sentiment from the same stamp set using Versafine onyx black ink and my mini-Misti for a nice crisp look. Then using a pretty scalloped die cut from Gina Marie Designs I cut the image down into a focal panel and mounted it to my card using some fun foam from Hobby Lobby. I then stamped the second sentiment from the same stamp set using more white cardstock and Versafine ink. I cut it down into a small strip and mounted it up off of the focal panel using a thin strip of fun foam. To finish my card off I added some black dots to the strawberries using my Sakura black gelly roll pen and some Glossy Accents for a nice finishing touch. My card today was created for the latest The Paper Players theme challenge. To create my card I started by stamping the fun chicken image from the Art Impressions Bird Brains stamp set onto some white Copic-friendly cardstock and colored it using my alcohol markers. I added some sparkle to the image using my Spectrum Noir clear glitter pen on her beak, legs, and the straw. I then cut the image out using a My Favorite Things pierced edge circle die and matted into onto a scalloped edge circle panel in Stampin' UP's real red cardstock that I cut using a Spellbinders die. I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set onto more white cardstock and cut it down into a strip that I mounted on more red cardstock. I then layered a fun plaid patterned paper from the American Crafts Heartland Farm 6x6 paper pad onto a panel of the red cardstock and then adhered it to my white card base. I die cut a large fishtail banner using more of the same papers from the paper pad a die from Jillian Vance. The inside of the card reads, " They're both a pain in the rear! Happy Birthday anyway!"
