My first card today is one of many that I will be donating to the Send A Smile 4 Kids charity that donates cards to children who are inpatient in hospitals. I will also be entering it into their latest challenge over at their blog. I started with some pretty burnt orange cardstock from Hobby Lobby and layered on some pretty floral patterned paper from the American Crafts Dear Lizzy Neapolitan 12x12 paper pad. I stamped the adorably Penny Black Nap image onto some Copic friendly cardstock and die cut it using a stitched rectangle die from Gina Marie Designs. I colored the image in using colors to match the paper and then added some clear Wink of Stella glitter pen for some fabulous shimmer and shine. I stamped the sentiment from the Paper Smooches Slang Gang stamp set and added some little black dots all over using a black gel pen. I mounted some more orange cardstock around the focal panel and mounted it onto the card using some 3M foam tape. Love how adorably it turned out and I only hope it will brighten a child's day when they receive it!
