My second card today was created for the latest Fusion Card Challenge. To create my card I started by adhering some textured navy cardstock from Hobby Lobby onto my white A2 card base and then layered some fun nautical patterned paper from Pink & Main's Beach Bum 6x6 paper pad on top. I added a sliver of the navy cardstock between the two patterned papers to break up the busyness of the papers. I then stamped the boat from Unity Stamp Company's Celebrate stamp set onto some white cardstock using Gina K Design navy ink and fussy cut it out. I stamped the image again and cut the star out and adhered it directly onto the image. I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set using Gina K Design navy and cranberry red inks. I popped the boat image up off of the panel using foam squares from Scrapbook Adhesives and adhered it directly above the sentiment. I matted the panel using more of the same navy cardstock and adhered it directly to the card panel following the featured sketch. I love how it turned out.
