My card was created for the latest 52 Christmas Card Throwdown challenge. To create my card I started by stamping focal image from the Power Poppy Cozy Cupfuls stamp set onto some white Copic-friendly cardstock. I colored the image using my alcohol markers in colors that would compliment my patterned papers and then die cut the panel using a stacking rectangle die from Pink & Main. Using papers from the Heidi Swapp Noel 6x6 paper pad I followed the sketch. I stamped the sentiment from the same Power Poppy stamp set and then cut it out using my trimmer. I popped the sentiment strip and the focal panel up off of the card using foam tape. To finish the card off I added some white gel pen accents to the image and black dashed lines around the outer edges of both the focal panel and the sentiment strip to give it a bit of interest against the busy background. What a great pp design, Celeste! I know colors are sometimes off in photographs, but I sure do love that shade of green and blue together. Adding the white highlights was a great idea! (I also love the snowman I noticed peeking over the bottom of my monitor!) Hugs, Darnell
