Tis The Season To Be Cozy-Send A Smile 4 Kids

This month at Send A Smile 4 Kids we are celebrating holiday cards for kids. I created this card by stenciling the background using Gina K Designs red hot ink and the Diagonal Lines stencil from Miss Inks Stamps. I adhered that panel directly down to my card base. I then white heat embossed the snowflake panel using Recollections Christmas-Noel background stamp and Ranger white detail embossing powder. I die cut that down into a smaller panel using a stitched nesting rectangle die from Paper Rose. I then stamped the mug from Colorado Craft Company's Snowman Hug Mug, along with the whip cream from Colorado Craft Company's Santa Cheer Mug, colored it with my alcohol markers, and fussy cut the image out. I stamped the candy cane and the holly and berries from the same stamp sets and adhered them to the image. I popped that all up on the focal panel using foam tape. The sentiment came from Colorado Craft Company's Cozy Reindeer Mug stamp set. I fussy cut that and adhered that below the image using more foam tape. I finished off this adorable card with white gel pen details. I really didn't feel like it needed any additional embellishments. Be sure to pop over to the Send A Smile 4 Kids blog and see what fun everyone else created. And we would love for you to participate in our challenge!
