Hello and welcome to the February installment of the coffee and cards collaboration with my crafty friend Debra Davison. We have another guest designer with us this month, my dear friend Rebecca Ledbetter. Becky has been more than just a crafty friend, she's someone who has been here for me through a tough year of life changes and I am so very blessed to call her friend!
For our collaboration this month we decided to do a Valentine themed coffee card. It's no secret that I love my Unity Stamp Company Angie Girl stamps and have several that are coffee themed and that's what I reached for when creating this card. I started a white card base and layered some pretty love-themed pink and grey patterned paper from Echo Park. I then stamped Angie girl and sentiment from Unity Stamp Company's Hello Love stamp set onto some Copic-friendly cardstock. I colored the image in using coordinating colors to match the patterned paper and then die cut the panel out using a stitched edge Gina Marie Designs rectangle die. I popped the panel up off of the card using 3M foam tape for added dimension. To finish my card I added some light pink sequins from Pretty Pink Posh and some pink Stickles to the gloves, sentiment, and scarf for some additional shimmer and shine.
As for my coffee, I opted for a nice big cup of Seattle's Best French roast with some Starbucks caramel creamer in a pretty new ceramic travel mug that I got for Christmas. Enjoy your coffee this morning and be sure to pop over to Deb and Becky's blogs and leave them some blog love in the way of a comment! Thank you for visiting my blog!
