Hello and happy Sunday. It's rainy and bleary here in Southeast Missouri, so I'm taking advantage of the bad weather to get a little crafty. My card today was created for the latest Freshly Made Sketches challege. I'm always in need of birthday cards and since I have very little time to create them these days I wanted to keep it simple. I started by taking a piece of yellow cardstock from Hobby Lobby and stamping the sunflower image and sentiment from the Stampendous Sunny Flowers stamp set onto the panel using Versafine onyx black ink. Then using a piece of bubble wrap and maple yellow ink from Altenew I "stamped" the background spots onto the panel. To finish off this simple card I die cut the scalloped edge borders using a Stamplorations border die and some black cardstock from Stampin' UP and then rounded the corners with my We R Memory Keepers corner chomper. Easy peasy! Thank you for stopping by and if you like my card be sure to leave a comment.
