For You My Sweet Friend

 

Today's card was created for the latest Inkspirational card challenge. I layered some royal blue cardstock that I created a background panel using Altenew's Grid cover plate and layered it onto some baby blue cardstock. The floral image was stamped in Memento tuxedo black ink using the Altenew Sulfur Cosomos stamp set. I inked the image up using Altenew's mini-ink cubes using various shades of blue and some greens for the leaves. I stamped the sentiments from the same stamp set using a navy ink and cut them out with the coordinating dies. I finished this card off by adding some star dust Stickles to the centers of each flower and some blue sticker gems I picked up at Michael's. Thank you for stopping by my blog today! Thinking Of You

 

Today's card was created for the latest Freshly Made Sketches and Just Add Ink card challenges. I created this card by die cutting a panel using plain white cardstock and a stitched nesting rectangle die from Paper Roses. Using Tim Holtz distress ink in shaded lilac, Gina K Designs ink in innocent pink, and Altenew crisp dye ink in blush I stamped the lines using MFT's Abstract Art stamp set. Using Gina K Designs basic black ink, I stamped the floral image from Penny Black's Nature's Jewels stamp set. I stamped the sentiment from Simon Says Stamp's Butterfly Blossoms stamp set and die cut it using the coordinating die. I popped the focal panel up off of the card using thin foam tape, popped the sentiment up, and added some pretty sparkling clear rhinestone gem stickers from Recollections. Happy Birthday

 

Today's card was created for both the Color Throwdown, Freshly Made Sketches, and Flower card challenges. I started by layering some butter yellow cardstock from my stash onto my white A2 cardbase. I then die cut a smaller panel using white cardstock and embossed it using a Spellbinders plaid embossing folder. I matted that panel with some black cardstock from my stash and adhered that to my card base. I stamped the floral image, butterfly, and sentiment from Simon Say's Stamps Butterfly Blossoms, colored them using the coordinating stencils and inks from Altenew, and then die cut them out using the dies. I popped the sentiment, butterfly, and image up with thin foam tape and arranged it onto my card following the sketch. I finished the card off with some diamond confetti from Pink & Main scattered around the card and some Nuvo Glitter Drops in white blizzard on the florals and butterfly from some additional sparkle and shine. Be A Pineapple

 

Today's card was created for the latest Color Throwdown card challenge. I created my card by layering some light green cardstock from Hobby Lobby directly onto my A2 cardbase. I then took a piece of cream cardstock from Hobby Lobby and did some ink smooshing directly onto it using some acetate and Tim Holtz kitch flamingo distress ink. I then added some embossed detail to the panel using Honey Bee Stamps Spring Leaves pierced detail background plate. I then cut the panel down using a stitched edge rectangle die from Paper Roses and adhered it to my card base using some 3M foam tape. I stamped the pineapples from the Honey Bee Stamps Pineapple mini stamp set onto my cardstock using Gina K Design black ink for the outline and Altenew Inks for the layering portion of the stamps. I enhanced them a bit by adding some detail to the coloring with my Copic markers and a white gel pen and then cut them out with the coordinating dies. I adhered them together in a trio with some liquid glue and then popped them up off of the card with more 3M foam tape. I stamped the sentiments from the same stamp set using Versamark ink and embossed them in gold embossing powder from Ranger and then die cut them using the coordinating dies. I adhered the top sentiment directly to the trio of pineapples and then popped the bottom sentiment up with foam tape. I finished this adorabale card off using some creamy yellow sequins from Pretty Pink Posh. Thank you for visiting my blog. I hope you have a beautiful day! 

Thinking Of You

Hooray, we've all made it to Friday! Today's card was created for the latest Global Design Project card challenge. I created my card by stamping the sunflowers and leaves from the Sunny Studio Sunflower Fields stamp set onto some 110lb cardstock using various inks from Gina K Designs, Altenew, and Ranger Archival. I fussy cut the images out. I then embossed a focal panel for the front of my card using a Spellbinders starburst folder and adhered that to my card. I diecut the sentiment from Stampin' UP's early espresso cardstock and Unity Stamp Company's On My Mind die three times and adhered them together using some liquid adhesive. I adhered it to my card toward the top and then popped the sunflowers up off of the card using some 3M foam tape. I adhered the leaves around the flowers using liquid glue and finished my card off by adding some clear rhinestone gems from Paper Studio around the images. 

 

Just For You

Hello and happy Sunday. It's rainy and bleary here in Southeast Missouri, so I'm taking advantage of the bad weather to get a little crafty. My card today was created for the latest Freshly Made Sketches challege. I'm always in need of birthday cards and since I have very little time to create them these days I wanted to keep it simple. I started by taking a piece of yellow cardstock from Hobby Lobby and stamping the sunflower image and sentiment from the Stampendous Sunny Flowers stamp set onto the panel using Versafine onyx black ink. Then using a piece of bubble wrap and maple yellow ink from Altenew I "stamped" the background spots onto the panel. To finish off this simple card I die cut the scalloped edge borders using a Stamplorations border die and some black cardstock from Stampin' UP and then rounded the corners with my We R Memory Keepers corner chomper.
