Today's card was created for the latest Freshly Made Sketches card challenge. I created my card by creating a focal panel using light pink cardstock from my stash, a stitched rectangle die from Paper Rose, and an embossing folder from The Paper Studio. I layered that onto some darker pink cardstock and adhered the panel directly onto my white A2 card base. I stamped the adorable hedgehog from Colorado Craft Company's Mini Love Cards stamp set, colored it using my alcohol markers, and fussy cut it out. I cut a heart using a Hero Arts layering heart die and patterned paper from Echo Park's Hello Valentine's 6x6 paper pad. I die cut a circle panel using a stitched circle die from My Favorite Things and white cardstock. I layered that onto a larger base using a Spellbinders nesting circle die and dark pink cardstock. I adhered the circle panel to the lower right area of the heart and popped all of it up off of the card using foam tape. I adhered the hedgehog using more foam tape. I stamped and fussy cut the sentiment using Memento tuxedo black ink and wood block stamp from Hampton Arts and adhered that to the focal panel. I finished off my card by coloring a few clear rhinestones from Recollections with my alcohol markers a pretty pink to match the card and scattered them around the focal image. Sending You Cozy Winter Wishes
Today's winter card was created for both the Paper Players and AAA Cards challenges. I used the Falling Snow stencil from SSS and TCW pearl white stardust butter to create snow on a simple panel of baby blue cardstock. I cut that down and adhered it straight to the card panel. I die cut the snow drift using a SSS Drifting Edge die. I adhered that directly to the card panel. I stamped the focal elements form MFT's Winter Wishes stamp set, colored them using my alcohol markers, and die cut them using the coordinating dies. I adhered them to my card panel, some directly with liquid glue and others with thin foam tape. I finished off the card by adding the sentiment from the same stamp set, and some Stickles in Star Dust. Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I appreciate each and every comment left on my projects! Stay safe and warm.

So Grateful For You-Coffee And Cards With Celeste And Deb

This month Deb and I decided to use this mail image as our inspiration. Who doesn't love happy mail, right? I was gifted the lovely Sugar Pea Designs Floral Envie stamp set from my friend Maria. I figured it was perfect for our inspiration this month! I created my card by stamping the background of my kraft card base the scripty stamp from Unity Stamp Company's Pumpkin Hearth using Stampin' UP's Sahara sand ink. I die cut a scalloped edge stitched rectangle focal panel using green cardstock from Hobby Lobby and a die from Gina Marie Designs I stamped Unity Stamp Company's Faithful Letter background stamp and Gina K Design fresh asparagus ink for a nice, subtle look. I stamped the envelope, butterflies, mini stamp, sentiment from the Sugar Pea Floral Envie stamp set, colored them with alcohol markers, fussy cut them out, and adhered them to the card using thin foam tape. I adhered some pretty clear confetti from Pink & Main around the image and some white gel pen details to finish off this fun card!
For my coffee this month, I actually opted for a dirty chai latte that I created at home with a liquid mix I found at my local Aldi's. It's a nice mix of black tea, chai, and coffee, and it's delicious! I suspect I will be going back for more of that before it sells out. I appreciate you stopping by my blog. Now, be sure to head on over to Debra's blog to see how she was inspired this month!

Happy Birthday-Send A Smile 4 Kids
This month at Send A Smile 4 Kids we are celebrating all things sports related. I have to admit, that I don't make too many sports related cards, so I took to Pinterest for inspiration. I started with an A2 panel of navy cardstock that I used to die cut the sentiment using a die from Blitsy. I then attached the panel directly to my card. I cut down a smaller white panel, and using a plate from my kitchen, I traced the circle onto the panel. Before I cut it into the baseball shape, I pierced the stitching lines into it using a piercing tool from my stash. I cut a 1" strip of red cardstock and created the details using the end of a heart die. I adhered them onto the white panel using liquid glue, trimmed off the overhang, and adhered the panel to the navy piece. I adhered my sentiment on the lower left side of the card and then added some bright yellow stars using a star die from my stash. It looks easy, but I had to throw 2 trials of this away before I got the dimensions correct. LOL. I finished the card off by adding some clear rhinestones from Recollections onto each of the stars. Thank you for stopping by my blog! Be sure to head over the Send A Smile 4 Kids blog and see what everyone else created this month!
