Today's card was created for the latest Inkspirational card challenge. I started by stamping the elements from Stampin' UP's Ocean Front stamp set onto white cardstock using Tim Holtz distress inks. I stenciled the seagulls using Newton's Nook Designs Retro Sun & Palms stencil set and black ink. I stamped the sentiment from Verve Stamps World's Best stamp set at the lower right side of the card and then cut that down into a focal panel using a stitched rectangle die from Paper Rose Designs. I matted that onto some teal cardstock I got from Michael's using thin foam tape and adhered the whole panel to my A2 white card base. The little gems under the sentiment are left over from a diamond gem kit I had last year. They are perfect for cards and I just didn't see the point in the throwing them away.
