This month Debra and I have our friend Michael Trent joining us for the fun, and we are playing with stencils. I have to admit I have tons and don't really reach for them very often. My stenciling on this card is minimal but impactful. I die cut a small circle focal panel using a stitched circle die from MFT and stenciled one of the dotted designs from Paper Rose Designs Random Spots stencil and carved pumpkin distress ink. I then embossed a panel of white cardstock using Unity Stamp Company's Soft Stitched Lattice embossing folder. I popped that and the circle panel up off of the card using thin foam tape. I stamped and colored one of the floral images from Penny Black's Nature's Jewels stamp set. I fussy cut it out and popped it up on the stenciled focal panel. I stamped and die cut the sentiment from Simon Says Stamp's CZ Design Clean Everyday stamp and die set. I popped the sentiment up with foam tape as well. I finished this card up with some clear rhinestones from Recollections and some star dust Stickles at the centers of the flowers. My coffee this month is a wonderful Smore's latte that I got as a freebie at my local Scooters. It was very tasty, and who doesn't like free, right? Now, be sure to pop on over to Deb and Michael's blogs and see what they've stenciled up this month!
