Wedding Congratulations

My card was created for the latest If You Give A Crafter A Cookie card challenge. I love this gorgeous photo and thought I would use it literally and create a wedding themed card. To create my card I started by layering a piece of soft pink cardstock from Hobby Lobby onto my white card base. I then embossed a piece of white cardstock using a gorgeous embossing folder from Lifestyle Crafts and layered it on top. I then die cut another piece of the pink cardstock using a Spellbinders circle die and another piece of white cardstock using a pierced edge MFT circle die and layered them together. I then stamped the wedding cake image from the Inkadinkado Wedding stamp set directly onto the white circle panel and again onto some Copic-friendly cardstock. I colored the flowers and icing on the cake in light pink tones using my alcohol markers, fussy cut the image, and popped it up off of the focal panel using Stampin' UP foam dimensionals. I then mounted both circle panels onto a white doily from Sunny Side Up Bakery and off set adhered it to embossed focal panel. I trimmed off the excess and mounted the entire panel onto my white card base. I trimmed down a small strip of the light pink cardstock and stamped the sentiment from the Avery Elle Petals & Stems stamp set in Versafine onyx black ink and adhered it below the focal panel. To finish my card off I added some pretty sparkle with light pink Stickles and a few clear rhinestones from Recollections. Thank you for visiting my blog and if you like my card be sure to leave a comment. I appreciate every single one of them!

Cupcake Birthday

Hello, and happy Sunday! Today's card was created for the latest Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge. To create my card I started by layering a piece of pink ombre swiss dot patterned paper from the Jen Hadfield Home Made 6x6 pattern paper pad onto my white card base. I then stamped the adorable three tiered tray of cupcakes from the Unity Stamp Company Unexpected Places kit of the month onto some white Copic-friendly paper using Memento tuxedo black ink and colored the image using my alcohol markers. I then fussy cut the image out and inked around the edges using my dual tip Memento marker. I adhered an adorable 4" doily from Sunny Side Up Bakery onto my card and then added the cupcake image by popping it up using Stampin' UP foam dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment from the same kit of the month stamp set onto the card and to finish it off I added some sparkle with some pretty sequins from Neat & Tangled and some Stickles in pink. I hope you like it!
