My card was created for the latest If You Give A Crafter A Cookie card challenge. I love this gorgeous photo and thought I would use it literally and create a wedding themed card. To create my card I started by layering a piece of soft pink cardstock from Hobby Lobby onto my white card base. I then embossed a piece of white cardstock using a gorgeous embossing folder from Lifestyle Crafts and layered it on top. I then die cut another piece of the pink cardstock using a Spellbinders circle die and another piece of white cardstock using a pierced edge MFT circle die and layered them together. I then stamped the wedding cake image from the Inkadinkado Wedding stamp set directly onto the white circle panel and again onto some Copic-friendly cardstock. I colored the flowers and icing on the cake in light pink tones using my alcohol markers, fussy cut the image, and popped it up off of the focal panel using Stampin' UP foam dimensionals. I then mounted both circle panels onto a white doily from Sunny Side Up Bakery and off set adhered it to embossed focal panel. I trimmed off the excess and mounted the entire panel onto my white card base. I trimmed down a small strip of the light pink cardstock and stamped the sentiment from the Avery Elle Petals & Stems stamp set in Versafine onyx black ink and adhered it below the focal panel. To finish my card off I added some pretty sparkle with light pink Stickles and a few clear rhinestones from Recollections.
