Today's card was created for the 2018 Spring & Summer Coffee Lover's Bloghop. I really wanted to so something red, white, and blue so I started by stamping the fun mug from the Reverse Confetti Just Brew It stamp set onto some white cardstock using Gina K Designs navy and warm cocoa inks and then die cut the image using the coordinating die. I then layered some patterned papers from the Pebbles Americana 6x6 paper pad onto my white card base using the fun sketch I found on Pinterest, only reversed. I finished it off using some 6mm clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh. Love this fun and patriotic card. Thank you for visiting my blog today and be sure to leave a comment.

Need Caffeine-Coffee And Cards With Celeste And Deb
Hello and welcome to the May installment of Coffee and Cards with Celeste and Deb! This month's post happens to coincide with the 2018 Spring & Summer Coffee Lover's Bloghop. We also are lucky to have our mutual crafty, coffee-loving friend Michael Trent joining us again as a guest designer! Our theme this month is to use stickers on our cards.
To create my first card I started by layering some Kelly green swiss dot polka paper from Lawn Fawn onto my white card base and then layering a piece of chevron woodgrain patterned paper from the Amy Tangerine Yes, Please 6x6 paper pad on top. I then popped up five gorgeous Starbucks ephemera coffee cups off of my card using Stampin' UP foam dimensionals. To finish this sweet card off I stamped the sentiment from the Latina Crafter's Need Caffeine mini stamp set into some white cardstock and cut it down to a small banner and popped it up off of the card using more foam dimensionals.
For my coffee selection I thought it was appropriate to get a nice Starbucks triple mocha Frappuccino to kind of match my card theme. Such a nice, cool drink to have on a hot summer Midwestern afternoon!
Now be sure to pop on over to Deb and Michael's blogs and leave a little love for them and have fun hopping along the hop!

Bras Are Like Friends
Hello and Happy Memorial Day weekend! Thank you for stopping by today. My card was created for the latest Time Out Challenge where we were to use the photo as inspiration for our card. I absolutely loved the colors in this photo! To create my card I started by layering some circles of patterned paper that I cut using an MFT pierced edge circle die and some papers from the Authentique 6x6 Essentials collection onto a piece of hot pink cardstock from the Mementa Cardstock Mats 5x7 paper pad. I then die cut the entire panel using a Gina Marie Designs funky edged rectangle die and popped the panel up off of my card using some fun foam from Hobby Lobby. I then stamped the bras from the Skipping Stones Design Bras Vol. 1 stamp set onto more of the same patterned papers, fussy cut them out, edged them with my dual tip Memento tuxedo black marker, and popped them up using Stampin' UP foam dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment from the Skipping Stones Design Bras Vol. 3 stamp set onto some white cardstock and then die cut it into a focal panel using a stitched edge rectangle die from Gina Marie Designs and popped that up off of the card to complete my card. If you like my card be sure to leave a comment and subscribe. Have a safe and happy weekend!
Have A Frapp-A-Licious Day!
Hello, and happy Memorial Day weekend to you! Today's card was created for the latest Fusion Card Challenge and the 2018 Spring & Summer Coffee Lovers Bloghop. I loved both the colors and the layout on the Fusion Card Challenge so tried to incorporate a bit of both in my card. To create my card I started by layering some pretty patterned papers from the Amy Tangerine Ready Set Go 6x6 paper pad onto my card base following the sketch. Using more of the same patterned papers I stamped the travel mug from the My Style Stamps Coffee Lovers stamp set and fussy cut the images out, lined the edges with my Memento tuxedo black dual tip maker and popped it up off of the card using some fun foam from Hobby Lobby. I added some black dashed lines around the inner focal panel of the card and then added some gorgeous sequins from The Ton as a finishing touch! I hope you like my fun and whimsical card and thank you for visiting my blog. Have a safe and happy weekend!

Wishing You A Very Happy Birthday
Hello...happy hump day! Today's card was created for the latest Just Us Girls challenge. I don't know why I struggle with color challenges but they are always so hard for me. There is only one more day left to enter this challenge so you know I had to ponder this one all week. LOL. To create my card I started by layering on some inexpensive grey cardstock from Hobby Lobby onto my white card base. I then cut a smaller white cardstock panel and stamped the elements from Stampin' UP's Kinda Ecclectic using Gina K Designs inks in navy and ocean mist and Memento ink in London fog. I then stamped the floral images from the Stampin' UP's Floral Shop and Petite Petals stamp sets using more of the same blue inks and used the coordinating punches to punch the shapes out. I added a small fishtail banner using the same grey cardstock and a Jillian Vance Design die and adhered that down to the card base. I popped the floral images up off of the card using Stampin' UP foam dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment from the Verve Stamps Wishing You stamp set using more of the navy ink and added some pretty little clear rhinestones from Recollections as a finishing touch. Thank you for visiting my blog today and if you like my card be sure to leave a comment and hit the subscription button!

If You Can Read This Thank A Teacher
Today's card was created for the May/June Words 2 Craft By challenge. This month our phrase is "If you can read this, thank a teacher." I have a friend who is retiring this month after 20+ years as a teacher in our local school system and I plan on giving this card to her as a retirement card. I thought it was perfect.
To create my card I started with a kraft card base and die cut a white panel using the Lawn Fawn speech bubble border die. Using the Lawn Fawn Claire's ABC's alpha stamp set I stamped the phrase using Versafine onyx black ink. I stamped the small apple image directly under the quote using Memento tuxedo black ink and the Paper Smooches Falling For You stamp set. I colored the image using my Copic markers. I then added some stitched black lines all around the border of the speech bubble panel and adhered it directly onto my card. I then stamped the larger apple image from the same Paper Smooches stamp set onto some white Copic-friendly cardstock and some patterned paper from the Cosmo Cricket Tea For Two 6x6 paper pad. I fussy cut the images, added some coloring to the stems using my alcohol markers, edged them all with my Memento dual tip marker, and adhered them together using my Zig 2 way glue pen. I adhered the green apple directly to the card and then popped the red apple up off of the card using Stampin' UP foam dimensionals. Thank you for visiting my blog today and I look forward to seeing all of the fun creations you all come up with the phrase!

Spread Your Wings & Fly
My second card today was created for the latest If You Give A Crafter A Cookie challenge. As soon as I saw the inspiration photo I knew I had to break out my Unity Stamp Company Kennedy Girl stamp set and ink it up! I stamped the image and the sentiment from the stamp set onto some Copic-friendly cardstock using my mini-Misti and Memento tuxedo black ink to get a nice crisp impression. I colored the image using my alcohol markers and then went over the sentiment, the wings, dress, and her hair with my Spectrum Noir clear shimmer pen and then die cut the image using a wonky stitch rectangle die from Gina Marie Designs. I layered some patterned paper from The Paper Studio's The Shoppe On The Square paper pad onto my white card base and then popped the focal panel up using fun foam from Hobby Lobby. For a finishing touch I added some sequins from Pretty Pink Posh and some Stickles to the wings and dress. Thank you for stopping by my blog today!
Season's Greeting
Today's card was created for the latest Jingle Belles card challenge. The challenge is to create a card with a building on it. To create my card I started by layering a piece of dark blue patterned paper from the Colorbok Watercolor Rainbow 8.5x11 paper pad onto my white card base. To create my winter scene I had to incorporate several different stamp sets. I started by stamping the birch tree from Altenew's Birch Land stamp set onto some Copic-friendly cardstock. I then stamped Altenew's Winter Cottage to make it look like it was in the background. I then selectively stamped two of the little trees from the Memory Box Deer In The Field stamp set next to the fence row to create a nice balanced scene. I then stamped the sentiment from the Hero Arts Merry Christmas Trees onto the top left corner. I die cut the entire scene using a stitched edge rectangle die from Gina Marie Designs and colored the images in using my alcohol markers. I adhered the panel to the card using some inexpensive fun foam from Hobby Lobby and then added some Wow extra fine white glitter to all of the snowy areas on the trees for a fun glittery finish. Love how serene this scene looks! Thank you for visiting my blog and if you like my card please be sure to leave a comment.
