For this month's Coffee and Cards collaboration, Debra and I are celebrating kids. My granddaughter, Maddie, is having a birthday this month, so I had to create something fun for her big day. Using MFT's Mini Cloud Edges stencil and a variety of inks from Stampin' UP, I created the rainbow cloud background. I die cut the panel using a stitched nesting rectangle border die from MFT, which I matted onto silver glitter cardstock from Crafter's Square and then mounted the panel to my white A2 card base. I stamped the images from MFT's Unicorns and Glitter stamp set onto white Copic-friendly cardstock and colored the images in rainbow colors and to look like Maddie and her little dog. I fussy cut the images and popped them up on foam tape on the card. I stamped the sparkles from the same stamp set around the images and heat embossed them using silver embossing powder from Recollections. I added a few clear rhinestones from Recollections to the center of each sparkle for extra shine. I stamped the sub sentiment using Versafine onyx black ink and a sentiment from The Greetery's Pretext Sentiments stamp set. I finished off the card by die cutting the word birthday using a die from Heffy Doodle and more of the silver glitter cardstock. To finish off the card, I added white gel pen details to the images and some Nuvo Glitter drops in white blizzard on all of the images for a nice sparkle and shine. For my coffee this month, I opted for a delicious pistachio latte with pistachio cold foam from Ziggi's coffee house. It was sheer perfection! Thank you for stopping by my blog today, I appreciate you! Now, be sure to head over to Debra's blog to see what she this month.
Today's card was created for the latest Color Throwdown card challenge. I started by die cutting a panel of light tan cardstock using a postage edge nesting die from Waffle Flower. I stamped the background pattern using a foliage stamp from Hero Arts Grateful Pumpkins stamp set and Sahara Sand ink from Stampin' UP. I adhered that directly to my A2 card base. I then stamped the pumpkins and leaves from the same stamp set onto white Copic-friendly cardstock and colored them with my alcohol markers. I used the coordinating dies to die cut the images. I stamped the sentiment onto a small white strip of pattered paper. I popped all of the pumpkins and the sentiment up with thin foam tape onto the front of my card and added some clear sparkling gems around the focal images. I have never created a pink pumpkin before by I think I love this color combination and will have to use this again!

Today's card was created for the latest Color Throwdown card challenge. To create my card, I die cut a white card panel using a scalloped edge rectangle die from Gina Marie Designs and popped it up off my kraft A2 card base using some low-profile foam tape. I then die cut a kraft panel using a stitched rectangle die from My Favorite Things. I stamped the subtle background using Stampin' UP's crumb cake ink and Unity Stamp Company's Faithful Letter red rubber background stamp. I then stamped the poppies from Altenew's Painted Poppy stamp set directly onto the kraft panel. I stamped the Happy sentiment from the same stamp set directly onto the panel using Versafine onyx black ink. On separate white cardstock I stamped the leaf using Altenew's moss green ink and the poppy's in Gina K Designs red hot ink. I fussy cut the poppy's and the leaf out and popped them up off of the card using more foam tape. I stamped the additional sentiment onto black cardstock using Versamark clear ink and heat embossed it using Ranger's detail white embossing powder. I cut the sentiment down into little strips and adhered them around the word happy. To finish off my card I die cut a few butterflies in more black cardstock using Stampin' UP's Beautiful Wings embosslit. I adhered those around the card, and added some white gel pen details. I love how this turned out!

This month at Send A Smile 4 Kids we are celebrating all things Fall/Halloween. I thought it would be fun to create an adorable Halloween card since I have two granddaughters I usually send cards to for that holiday. I created this card by stamping the adorable witch from the Mama Elephant Bootastic stamp set onto white Copic-friendly cardstock. I colored the image using my alcohol markers and fussy cut the image out. I then inked a background using Stampin' UP's perfect plum ink and added water to it for a nice distressed look. I cut down a white focal panel using white cardstock and my Fiskars wire trimmer and created a window in the panel. I stamped the sentiment under the window opening, adhered the witch to the opening, and popped the whole panel up using 3M foam tape. I finished the card off by added some black gems from Paper Rose. Love how adorably this card turned out. Now, be sure to head over the Send A Smile 4 Kids blog and see how everyone else was inspired by this month's challenge.
