Merry Christmas

 

Hello, and thank you for stopping by my blog today! Today's card was created for the latest Just Add Ink card challenge. I created my card by stenciling some Tim Holtz distress ink in vintage photo onto a piece of kraft cardstock using the Tim Holtz Holiday Knit stencil. I then stamped the Heidi Swapp woodgrain background stamp onto more kraft cardstock using Memento cocoa ink, and then cut that into a frame. Using Whimsy Stamps Tattered Christmas stamp and die set I created my little scene using white and kraft cardstocks and my alcohol markers. I arranged my scene on the card. Popped the frame and the ornaments up off of the card using thin foam tape. I stamped the sentiment from the same Whimsy Stamp set onto the bottom right-hand corner and added a bit of white gel pen for highlights and some pretty clear rhinestones from Recollections for additional shine. 

Believe In The Magic Of Christmas

Hello, and happy Friday! Today's card was created for the latest Freshly Made Sketches card challenge. I created my card by stamping the adorable snowmen from Close To My Heart's Snow Friends stamp set onto my card base using a Copic-friendly ink. I colored the snowmen with my alcohol markers and then masked them off using a bit of painter's tape. Using the Falling Snow stencil from Simon Says Stamp and Hero Paste in white, I added my snow. Once that dried, I ink blended several shades of Tim Holtz distress inks in shades of blue to create my sky. I stamped the sentiment from Miss Inks Stamps Season's Greetings stamp set onto white cardstock, created a fishtail banner, and adhered it directly to the card panel. This was a very simple card to create and think I might make several more of this one to send out at Christmas. Thank you for stopping by my blog. All comments are read and appreciated greatly. Coffee Everyday

 

Today's card was created for the latest Sketch Saturday card challenge. I usually love a good sketch, but this one had me a little out of my comfort zone. I started by layering some black cardstock onto my white card base. Using a Paper Rose stitched rectangle die, I die cut patterned paper from Echo Park's 12x12 Coffee paper collection to create my chevron pieces. I adhered both pieces to another piece of patterned paper from the same paper collection and die cut them using the same stitched rectangle die. I matted the focal panel using some Stampin' UP basic black cardstock and adhered the panel to my card base. I finished off the card by adding a coffee sticker that I had in my stash, a sentiment sticker from the Echo Park paper pad collection, and a few pretty confetti pieces in Glistening Night from Pink & Main. It's not one of my favorite cards that I've created lately, but I am glad to use up some of things I have in my stash. Thank you for stopping by my blog today!

Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas

 

Today's card was created for the latest Freshly Made Sketches challenge. First, I embossed a piece of white cardstock using a Spellbinders plaid embossing folder. I stamped the sentiment from Ellen Hutson's Christmas Scribbles stamp set onto some kraft cardstock using Memento tuxedo black ink. I cut the sentiment down into a thin strip. I die cut a piece of red cardstock into a scalloped border using a Papertrey Ink border die, adhered the sentiment strip to the top of that border. I then adhered the entire thing to a piece of patterned paper from The Paper Studio Vintage Christmas 6x6 paper pad. I attached the patterned paper strip to my embossed panel and die cut the entire thing into a smaller panel using a stitched rectangle die from Paper Rose. I adhered the focal panel to my white A2 card base. I then stamped the gingerbread house and the gingerbread man from the now retired Avocado Arts Gingerbread Goodness stamp set onto more kraft cardstock. I fussy cut the images out. I then pattern-pieced the body of the house, the door, and the roof and adhered all of the images to the card using liquid glue. I finished the card off my adding a bow tie to the gingerbread man and a few clear rhinestones from Recollections for a finishing card. Thank you for stopping by my blog today. Hello Gorgeous-Coffee And Cards With Celeste And Deb

 

Hello! This month Deb and I have chosen this beautiful color palette as our inspiration. My granddaughter is obsessed with sunflowers, so I have several sunflower stamp sets and thought I would use one as my starting point. I stamped the sunflowers and leaves from the Recollections Sunflowers stamp set onto white Copic-friendly cardstock and colored them using my markers. I fussy cut them out and arranged them in a line using adhesive. I stamped the Sketchy Line background stamp by Simon Says Stamp using light blue ink onto a white panel. I adhered a paint chip I had picked up at my local hardware store to the bottom of that panel at an angle. I then adhered some gold glitter washi by American Crafts and my sunflowers above it to create a border. I die cut the entire panel using a stitched rectangle die by Paper Rose. I backed the panel with some early dark brown cardstock from my stash and adhered the panel to my white A2 card base. I stamped the sentiment from Honey Bee's Sweet Sunflower stamp set at the bottom using Versamark ink and embossed it using Ranger's detail white embossing powder. I finished by card off my adding some gorgeous coppery sequins from Pawsome Stamps. For my coffee, I chose a delicious pumpkin cold brew from our local Ziggi's coffee shop. Witch Way Is the Candy? Send A Smile 4 Kids

This month at Send A Smile 4 Kids we are celebrating Fall/Halloween. To create my card, I started by embossing a panel of black of cardstock using Simon Says Stamp's Tangled Web 3D embossing folder. I adhered that to my A2 white card base. Using Copic marker YG07 Acid Green, I colored a strip of white cardstock and adhered that to the bottom of the card. Using patterned paper from the Recollections Midnight Magic Halloween 6x6 paper pad I added a smaller strip on top of the green paper and a small fish tail banner at the top of the focal panel. I then stamped the images from My Favorite Things Which Way Is The Candy stamp set onto white Copic-friendly cardstock. I colored them using my alcohol markers, cut them out with the coordinating dies, and adhered them to my card panel using thin foam tape. I stamped the sentiment onto white cardstock and cut it down to a thin banner, where I fishtailed the end, and adhered it onto the card closer to the top. I finished off the card by adding some white gel pen detail and googly eyes to the adorable cat. I know one of my granddaughters will love this card! Today's card was created for the latest Color Throwdown card challenge. I started by layering some light purple cardstock from my stash onto my white A2 card base. I then cut down a panel of white cardstock and stamped the background images from the Craft Stash Wild Meadows stamp set using Stampin' UP's tempting turquoise and Versafine onyx black inks. I stamped the main floral image from the same stamp set using Memento tuxedo black ink and Copic-friendly white cardstock. I colored the image using the colors in the challenge, fussy cut it out, and mounted it onto a vellum oval. I popped the vellum panel up off of the card using thin foam tape, added a sentiment from the same stamp set, and a few pretty clear rhinestone gems from Recollections to finish off this card. Today's card was created for my granddaughter's upcoming birthday. She absolutely loves sunflowers, and I thought I would challenge myself and create a sunflower card for her big day. I started by stamping the background directly onto my white A2 card base by using Stampin' UP's crumb cake ink and Heidi Swapp's woodgrain background stamp. I then inked around the edges and some of the card base using the same ink to make it look more like wood. I then stamped the sunflower and leaves images from Recollections Sunflowers stamp set onto white Copic-friendly cardstock and colored them using my alcohol markers. I fussy cut the images out and adhered them to the base of my card using thin foam tape. I stamped the sentiment from Pawsome Stamps XL Birthday Greetings stamp set using Versafine onyx black ink in the upper left corner of the card base. I finished off my card by adding some pretty sparkling black gems around the card to add some additional sparkle and shine. Thank you for stopping by my blog today!
