Today's second card was created for the CAS Christmas card challenge. I started with some early espresso cardstock by Stampin' UP and layered on some white cardstock that I embossed using a The Paper Studio snowflake embossing folder. I layered up some patterned papers from the Carta Bella Warm & Cozy 6x6 patterned paper pack onto some more early espresso cardstock. I created the focal scene by die cutting the deer using Impression Obsession dies and some more early espresso cardstock and layered them using a snowdrift die from Paper Smooches and some patterned paper from the same paper pack. The sentiment die was created using some more early espresso cardstock using some holiday Impression Obsession dies. Love how peaceful and elegant this turned out. Happy Sunday! Hope everyone is enjoying beautiful weather in their area. Today's card was created for the latest CAS Christmas card challenge. To create my card I started by embossing some kraft cardstock using a Spellbinders plaid embossing folder. I mounted that directly onto my white A2 card base. I then stamped, colored, and die cut the images from Concord & 9th's Merry Mantle stamp and die set. I die cut the sentiment using the same die set and black cardstock. I popped all of the images up off of my card using Stampin' UP foam dimensionals and finished the card off by adding a few clear sequins in 4mm and 6mm from Pretty Pink Posh. My second card today was created for the latest CAS Christmas card challenge. To create my card I started by die cutting the adorable deer from some brown cardstock from Hobby Lobby using the Newton's Nook Splendid Stags die and the wreath from Gina Marie Designs die. I cut the berries and the holly using the same Gina Marie Designs die set and some green and red cardstock from Hobby Lobby. Using some white cardstock from Staples and a Richard Garay sweater embossing folder I created the beautiful textured background. I adhered the embossed background down onto my white A2 card base and then glued the other elements down the center of the card using Tombow Mono liquid glue. I stamped the sentiment using Gina K Designs charcoal brown ink and the Simon Says Stamp mini Christmas stamp set and cut it down into a thin banner strip and adhered it directly to the card panel. I finish my card off I added some red Stickles to the deer's nose and to the berries on the holly. I hope you like my card and thank you for visiting my blog today!
