Warm Wishes

Hello! I am guest designing for the latest 52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown challenge. To create my card, I started by layering some navy cardstock from Hobby Lobby's Recollections onto my white A2 card base. I then layered some patterned paper from My Mind's Eye Oh Christmas Tree 12x12 paper pad. I then die cut a circle panel using more navy cardstock using a stitched circle die from My Favorite Things, embossed it using a snowflake embossing folder from The Paper Studio, and adhered it directly onto my card. I then stamped all of the images from the My Favorite Things Cool Day stamp set onto Copic-friendly white cardstock, colored them using my alcohol markers, and fussy cut them out. I popped the images up off of the card using Stampin' UP foam dimensionals and then added white gel pen details to the images. Thank you for stopping by my blog today!

Hello Honey-Coffee And Cards With Celeste And Deb

Hello and Happy Father's Day! For this month's Coffee and Cards with Celeste and Deb we chose bees as our main theme for our cards. To create my card I started by layering some basic black cardstock onto my white A2 card base and then stamped the bee onto some white cardstock using Hampton Art Hello Honey stamp set and Memento tuxedo black ink. Using one of the foliage stamps in the set I created an oval wreath around my bee, stamped the sentiment above and below the bee, and added some honey comb elements in the corners. I colored all of the images using my Copic markers and die cut that panel using a Paper Rose stitched edge stacking die. I mounted the focal panel onto my card base using 3M foam tape and then finished the card off with some Wink of Stella clear shimmer pen onto the wings and some pretty gems from the Honey Bee Stamps Fresh Brewed gem collection.
My coffee selection this month is kind of coffee themed. I went this past week to St. Louis with some friends and stopped at a local restaurant that microbrews their own beer. I couldn't turn down this amazing maple coffee stout, especially given how hot it's been here in the Midwest this past week. This stuff really hit the spot! Now be sure to stop by Debra's blog to see what fun she created this month!

Butterfly Birthday

This pretty butterfly birthday card was created for the latest AAA Cards Challenge. I created my card by layering an oval I die cut using a pierced edge die from My Favorite Things and some striped patterned paper from the My Favorite Things Black & White Stripes 6x6 paper pad and gluing that directly onto my card base. Then using paint chips I picked up at my local hardware store in variant tones of green I die cut butterflies using the Stampin' UP Beautiful Wings sizzlet die and adhered them around the oval. I stamped the sentiment from the Verve Stamps Poppy Birthday stamp set and Versafine onyx black ink. I finished off the card by adding some white gems the Honey Bee Stamps Fresh Brewed gem collection. Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you have a wonderful day!

Relax Your Way!

Hello, happy Wednesday! I created this card for the latest Less Is More card challenge. I just picked up the Stampin' UP A Good Man stamp set and thought it would be perfect with Father's Day coming up this week and the latest challenge. I stamped the image onto some Copic-friendly cardstock, colored it with my Copic markers, and fussy cut around the image. I die cut a white panel using stackable rectangle dies from Pink & Main and white cardstock. Using strips of 2" blue painter's tape I created the background by running the tape across Stampin' UP's Sahara sand and bashful blue ink pads and transferring it to the cardstock to create ground and sky. Using Versafine onyx black ink I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set directly over the inked background. I popped the focal image up using Stampin' UP foam dimensionals and adhered the panel to some basic black cardstock to finish off this card. I love the way the background turned out on this card!

It's Always Coffee Time

I popped into my local Tuesday Morning and happened upon a 12x12 Echo Park Coffee kit for $6.99 and just couldn't resist it! So, I created a fun card using the patterned papers and a few of the included stickers to create this fun, no-stamping card and will be entering it in the latest Cardz 4 Galz and The Paper Players card challenges. Everything was matted on basic black cardstock from Stampin' UP and all of the papers and stickers came in the Echo Park Coffee 12x12 kit. This was probably the easiest card I've created!

Noel

Happy Sunday! Hope everyone is enjoying beautiful weather in their area. Today's card was created for the latest CAS Christmas card challenge. To create my card I started by embossing some kraft cardstock using a Spellbinders plaid embossing folder. I mounted that directly onto my white A2 card base. I then stamped, colored, and die cut the images from Concord & 9th's Merry Mantle stamp and die set. I die cut the sentiment using the same die set and black cardstock. I popped all of the images up off of my card using Stampin' UP foam dimensionals and finished the card off by adding a few clear sequins in 4mm and 6mm from Pretty Pink Posh. Thank you for stopping by my blog today!

You Rock!-Send A Smile 4 Kids

I cannot believe it's June already! Where is this year going? This month Send A Smile 4 Kids is focusing on cards for teens. I dug into my stash and found a scrap of old patterned paper that is so old I cannot recall who made it. I cut it down using a stitched rectangle die from Gina Marie Designs and cut it into two parts. I adhered it to a panel of dusty pink cardstock I picked up at Hobby Lobby. Using a Spellbinders decorative edge circle die I die cut a focal panel and stamped the sentiment from the My Favorite Things Essential Sentiments stamp set using Memento tuxedo black ink. I added some faux stitched lines using my dual tip Memento marker in black and adhered it to the card. I then die cut a lace border using a My Favorite Things border die and white cardstock. I adhered that where I cut the patterned paper to separate the two patterns. I then stamped, colored, fussy cut, and popped up the adorable focal image from the All Dressed Up Girl's Night Out stamp set using Memento tuxedo black ink and my alcohol markers. To finish the card off I added some white gel pen details to the girl and a few berry colored gems from Simon Says Stamp. I can't wait to see how everyone is inspired by this month's challenge!

America, Home Of the Brave

Hello! Can you believe it's June 1st already? This year seems to just be flying by. My card today was created for The Card Concept card challenge. To create my card I started by stamping the sentiment from Taylored Expressions Patriotic stamp set using Memento inks in reds and blues. I cut the panel down using a Pink & Main stacking rectangle die and then mounted it onto a scalloped edge panel I die cut using some navy cardstock from my stash and a die from Gina Marie Designs. I added a few navy 4mm sequins from Pretty Pink Posh in the four corners of the panel. For my card base I layered more navy cardstock and layered a piece of plain white cardstock on top for a frame. Die cutting pieces of patterned paper from the American Crafts American 6x6 paper pad using a zig zag border from Pretty Pink Posh I layered all of the pieces together to create a background and then cut it down into a rectangle slightly smaller than my white panel. I then mounted the focal panel on top using 3M foam tape. Thank you for stopping by my blog today!
