World's Best Dad-Coffee And Cards With Celeste And Deb

Hello, in honor of Father's Day Debra and I decided to create masculine cards using this gorgeous mood board. And we have our crafty friend Michael joining us this month too! Using masculine patterned papers from ki's Vintage Charm 6x6 paper pad and a fun sketch I found on Pinterest I created my card. I stamped the image from Stampin' UP's A Good Man stamp set using Memento tuxedo black ink and colored the image using my Copic markers. I fussy cut the image and popped it up on the card using foam tape. I stamped the World's Best sentiment from Verve Stamp's World's Best stamp set using Gina K charcoal brown ink. Using some of the dark brown patterned paper that I used on the background, I die cut the word DAD using a mini My Favorite Things Essential Alphabet die and adhered the letters below the stamped sentiment. I finished off the card by adding some smoky blue sequins from The Ton and some faux stitching around the fishtail banner that I created using a Jillian Vance die.

For my coffee, I opted for an iced Thai coffee with cream and lime! Now, be sure to head over and see how Deb and Michael were inspired by this month's inspiration photo!

It's Your Day-Relax Your Way!

Today's card was created for the latest AAA cards challenge. I created my card by stamping the focal image from Stampin' UP's Good Man stamp set onto white alcohol-friendly cardstock using Memento tuxedo black ink. I colored the image with my Copic markers and fussy cut the image out. Using the Stampin' UP Oceanfront stamp set I created the background using Tim Holtz distress inks in tea dye, antique linen, salvaged patina, salty ocean, and prize ribbon. I stamped the grasses in Memento tuxedo blank ink and the sentiments in Versafine onyx black ink. I popped the focal image up off of the card using foam tape and added some hand drawn seagulls in the background with a Memento dual tip marker. I finished the card up by popping the entire focal panel up off of the card using foam tape.

Mom

Today's card was created for the latest Color Throwdown card challenge. I created this card by stamping the My Favorite Things Roses All Over background stamp onto some white cardstock using Versamark ink and heat embossed it with Ranger's white detail embossing powder. I water colored the panel using Tim Holtz distress inks. I die cut two white cardstock panels using a stitched sloping edge die from Paper Smooches and created an upper and lower panel to flank the watercolor paper. I stamped the sentiment from Verve Stamps Because Of You stamp set using Versafine onyx black ink and flanked the panels with some clear rhinestones from Recollections. I popped the whole panel up off of my A2 white card base using some foam tape. Thank you for stopping by my blog today and leaving a comment.

Bride & Groom

My daughter asked me to create a wedding card for a couple she knows that are getting married this fall. She wanted the colors to match those of the flowers the bride will be carrying. I stamped the background using those colors in chalk inks from VersaMagic and the Hero Arts Leaf & Floral background stamp. I stamped the wedding image from the Inkadinkado Wedding stamp set using Memento tuxedo black ink, colored it with my Copic markers, and fussy cut the image out. I stamped the sentiment using Versafine onyx black ink and a stamp from Paper Inspirations and cut it down to a banner using a straight edge die from Lawn Fawn. I mounted it to my background panel and die cut the entire thing using a stitched rectangle die from Paper Rose. I popped the panel up off of my A2 white card using thin foam tape and popped the couple up as well. I finished the card off by adding some clear sparkling sequins from Pretty Pink Posh for a little extra sparkle. Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I appreciate you, and hope you have a wonderful day!

Happy birthday-Send A Smile 4 Kids

Hello, happy June! This month at Send A Smile 4 Kids we are celebrating teens. I have a friend who recently purged some craft supplies and gifted me a few older CTMH stamp sets. I used the Fun Times stamp set to create that fun green strip of critters. I stamped the images onto some green patterned paper from the Little Yellow Bicycle's Fern & Forest 6x6 paper pad using Hero Arts green ink. I cut that down into a smaller strip panel and mounted it on some early espresso cardstock from Stampin' UP. I cut down another panel of patterned paper from the paper pad and mounted that on dark brown cardstock and adhered the panel to my card base. I stamped some sub sentiments from The Greetery's PreText Sentiment stamp set using charcoal brown ink from Gina K Designs and cut them down into small sentiment strips and mounted them on brown cardstock. Using the top half of the Simon Says Stamp Birthday Wishes sentiment die, I die cut more of the same early espresso cardstock using the Birthday die. I attached that to a white panel and mounted that on brown cardstock. I adhered that to the card panel and added some fun yellow enamel dots from Simple Stories for a nice pop of color. Thank you for stopping by my blog. I hope you stop by the Send A Smile 4 Kids blog and see how the rest of the design team was inspired.
