Today's card was created for the latest Watercooler Wednesday challenge. To create my card I started by stamping the beautiful Angie girl image from the Unity Stamp Company's Conspiracy Of Love KOTM stamp set onto some white Copic-friendly cardstock. After coloring the image with my alcohol markers I adhered a small strip of plaid patterned paper from the Carta Bella Warm & Cozy 6x6 paper pad to the left of the panel and then die cut the entire thing using a stitched edge Gina Marie Design rectangle die. I then layered some smoky grey cardstock from Stampin' UP onto my white card base and then popped the focal panel up off of the card using some 3M foam tape. I stamped the sentiment from the Papertrey Ink Winter Snowglobe stamp set onto more of the grey cardstock using Versamark clear embossing ink and then heat set it using some Recollections snow embossing powder. I cut the sentiment down to a small strip and adhered it directly to the focal panel to finish my card off. Thank you for visiting my blog today and please leave a comment if you like my card!

Deck The Halls
Today's adorable Christmas card was created for two challenges...the 52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown challenge to use paper piecing on your card and the Merry Monday challenge to use a card depicting Christmas caroling. I started by stamping the adorable snowman trio from Purple Onion Designs onto some white cardstock and coloring them in using Copic markers. I stamped the image again and stamped them onto some patterned paper from the Carta Bella Warm & Cozy 6x6 paper pad and paper pieced the bands on the snowmen's hats, their scarves, and the trees out and adhered them to the already colored image. I added some shadow and dimension to the paper pieced images with my Copic markers. I die cut some banks of snow using some Paper Smooches border dies and adhered them together. Then I fussy cut around the stamped image and outlined it using my Memento tuxedo black dual tip marker. I cut a small piece of some pretty blue snowflake paper from the American Crafts Wish List 6x6 paper pad and adhered it onto my white card base. I then adhered my stamped image panel down and then my snow banks. Once it was all adhered I added some clear Wink of Stella to the snowmen's noses and to the paper pieced parts. Then I stamped the musical notes from Lawn Fawn's Stay Tuned stamp set and the sentiment from the My Favorite Things Cheerful Christmas Greetings stamp set using Versafine onyx black ink. I added the finishing touch of some shimmery "snow" to the snow banks by adding some Stickles frosted lace to the edges. Love how adorably it turned out!

Season's Greetings
Today's second card was created for the Freshly Made Sketches 201 sketch . I started with some chocolate chip cardstock by Stampin' UP and layered on some white cardstock that I embossed using a The Paper Studio snowflake embossing folder. Following the sketch pretty closely I layered up some patterned papers from the Carta Bella Warm & Cozy 6x6 patterned paper pack onto some more chocolate chip cardstock. I created the focal scene by die cutting the doe and her foal using Impression Obsession dies and some more chocolate chip cardstock and layered them using a snowdrift die from Paper Smooches and some patterned paper from the same paper pack. I layered that circle die with a slightly larger circle die from Spellbinders Nestabilities. The sentiment die was created using some more chocolate chip cardstock using some holiday Impression Obsession dies. Love how peaceful and elegant this turned out.

Season's Greetings
My second card today was created for the Merry Monday Christmas card challenge #167 over at the Merry Monday blog. The challenge is to create a Christmas card using the inspiration photo either for a theme, color combo, or sketch. I chose to go with hearts so I broke out my WPlus9 Pretty Patches Christmas set with matching dies. I die cut three trees and hearts using the coordinating dies and then stamped them using some Memento northern pine for for the trees, VersaMagic gingerbread for the trunks, and Gina K cranberry tart for the patchwork hearts. I created my card base using some kraft cardstock I picked up at Hobby Lobby and die a side folding card. I layered on some 110lb white cardstock from Staples and stamped the same tree trunk in Gina K charcoal brown at the top to create a sort of checkerboard effect. I added a piece of beautiful plaid paper from the Carta Bella Warm & Cozy 6x6 paper collection and added a small strip of the same kraft cardstock to ground it all. I glued the hearts to the center of the trees and then popped them up onto Stampin' UP foam dimensionals to really make them pop off of the card. I cut a cute banner from an MFT banner collection and stamped the greeting from the same WPlus9 stamp set in cranberry tart and then popped it up onto foam dimensionals as well. I rounded the corners using my We R Memory Keepers corner chomper using the 1/8" side for a slightly rounded look. I hope you like it!
